Evaluations 2017

In the recreational divisions (Mini Tyke, Tyke, Novice) we prioritize the enjoyment of the game by aiming to form teams of friends and players that have played together in the past.  The GELC encourages parity amongst the teams in these age groups however this may not always result.  The novice division in particular, only plays 6 games of parity and is then tiered by their respective records.  It is altogether possible that our Posse teams play in different divisions after the May long weekend re-tiering, thus making our "in-house" parity less important.  All of these divisions will be evaluated over 2-3 hours and begin team practices late March.

** Please limit your requests for team placement to 2 additional friends and direct these requests to the appropriate Division Director.  A request is not a guarantee and a refund will not be issued should your request not be able to be accommodated.

In the competitive tiered divisions (Peewee, Bantam, Midget) our priority will be to field the most competitive teams possible in the appropriate tier, however hosting an "in-house" A-Team will depend on our registration numbers each year.  These divisions will be evaluated over 4-5 hours and may include tryout's for players outside our organization should their home club not have an 'A' team.  The players with the best skill, regardless of their home clubs will earn their spot on our 'A' team.  Teams in these divisions will be formed by mid-March.
