Junior B Captains Announced

Head Coach Shawn Schimpf, took the opportunity at this week's CrossFit training session to announce his Captains for the 2021 Summer season.  Afterward, Shawn had this to say about the upcoming season and his selections:

"This season has come together quickly and we are really excited about the opportunity to get back to work.  Even more, we're ecstatic that these four guys are back to lead us!  Each of them brings an intensity and passion for the game and this organization.  They all wore letters for us back in 2019 and they will be great role models for the new guys playing junior lacrosse for the first time this season."  As for the talent in camp, Coach had this to say "We have a ton of interest again this year and the ALA and RMLL's decision to allow players to return to play on two teams in this exhibition season has certainly increased the talent level.  We have seen guys come back from Tier 1 to play their final year at home, and many new faces that have graduated to junior over the past two cancelled seasons.  We will be an exciting team to watch, physical and fast on defense and very balanced and skilled on offence.  I can't wait to see them in action this weekend!"

Mattias McEwan will wear the 'C' this season, while Bellerose, Sim and Crawford will assist.  Sim and Bellerose led the team in scoring in 2019, while McEwan and Crawford were instrumental in the team's defense.  All four are homegrown Posse players and give back to the minor program whenever possible. 

The 2021 season gets underway Saturday, June 26th 7:00pm at Glenn Hall Arena.  Spectators are permitted to 1/3 of capacity so let's let 200 socially distant fans in the stands to kick this campaign off!
