Senior
The Parkland Posse is currently considering applying to the RMLL for a franchise in the Senior C division. Here is what you need to know:
- We have set a date for pre-registration cut-off of September 15th. We will only go forward with our bid to the league if we have 30 players pre-registered by this date.
- Pre-Register today at the following link: Parkland Posse Lacrosse Association : RAMP Registrations
- The current drop-down menu should say Winter Box 2024
- The only option available right now in that menu is Senior Pre-Registration
- The $200 pre-registration fee will 100% refundable if we do not meet our minimum registration or our bid is rejected.
- If the bid is accepted, the pre-registration fee is non-refundable, and will be applied as a credit toward your registration for the 2025 season.
Further details about the season:
- We would play out of the Grant Fuhr arena and practice once per week, beginning 3 weeks before the regular season start date.
- Season would be a 12-game regular season where we play the other 4 teams in the north division three times each. Most games are scheduled Fri-Sun.
- Top 2 teams in the division would advance to provincial tournament which was held the July 5-7 weekend this year.
- Travel and hotels would be the responsibility of the players. Teams in the division consist of Edmonton Miners, Edmonton Warriors, Border Rage (Lloydminster) and Blackfalds Silverbacks.
- Likely total cost for the registration would be between $450-$500 soon to be finalized
- You are encouraged to register even if you could only make half the games, as that will help set the price for registration. Example if 40 guys pre-register, the final registration will likely drop to a max of $400
