Junior B Lacrosse is coming to Parkland!

Every graduating Midget player within the Parkland Posse registers with us to play Junior regardless of whet level of Junior they hope to play. In the event a player is drafted and they choose to play for that team, your registration funds will be transferred to that organization.

Former graduates of our program who have been playing in Junior are welcome to play Junior B Tier II wherever they choose and can return to play with us without consequence. They must however play Junior B Tier I or Junior A with the team that they are currently carded with.

Our budget will be communicated shortly. We are in the process of seeking corporate sponsorship for items such as jerseys, gloves, helmets, equipment bags etc. Should we be successful this would likely reduce our initially communicated registration cost of $1,000. We will however continue with our cash-call according to the following schedule:

By Dec 1 - $300 - non-refundable unless player is cut from the 25-man roster. Payment of this amount by Dec 1, will also entitle the player to free admission to our winter drop-in program.
Should a player register and then decide to play for a Junior B Tier I or Junior A team, we will refund the family an amount equal to all monies collected, less the $10 drop-in fee for every camp date they attend.
Future installments will be due on January 1, February 1 and final installment March 1

As mentioned above, any player that makes the $300 commitment by December 1st will be welcome to attend our winter drop-in for no charge; (the drop-in will be run by the Junior B coaching staff). Dates for Midget/Junior aged players can be found here.

The team will compete in the North West division which for the 2019 season will be comprised of: Westlock, St. Albert Crude, Edmonton Warriors, Sherwood Park Titans and us. There will be trips to Vermillion, Wainwright, Cold Lake and Lloydminster throughout the season.

Season begins on April 26th with Playoffs and Provincials concluded by July 21st. It is unlikely that we will have games scheduled on May Long weekend or the weekend of the ALA Minor Provincials; July 12, 13, 14. Canada Day weekend may have makeup games scheduled, but regular season is projected to end last week of June, with first round of playoffs beginning July 5-7.
