Volunteer

The lacrosse season is relatively short but requires volunteers to assist with evaluations up until the end of season equipment return. Upon registration you would have agreed to fulfill one volunteer commitment per child. A volunteer commitment fee of $100 will be due at registration. This fee will be reimbursed upon completion of your volunteer commitment.

The following positions within the organization constitute fulfillment of the required volunteer commitment:

Head Coach

Assistant Coach (limit 2 per team)

Manager

Any Executive or Board position with the Parkland Posse

There will be opportunities for membership to fulfill their commitment throughout the season. Our main sources of these opportunities are:

Winter Camp, Evaluations/Tryouts, Casino's, Bingo's and Junior Games.

Team volunteer commitment such as jersey parent, score keeping, shot clock etc do NOT count toward Club volunteer commitment.

Shifts will be posted through the website iVolunteer. Once you sign up for a shift the program will send you a confirmation email, please click on the confirmation link within the email to confirm your shift. You will also be sent reminders for the shifts you have signed up for. Please ensure that you have filled out the players name in which you are completing the shift for.

* Once you sign up for a shift, that shift is YOUR responsibility to ensure it is worked

* Any shift not worked due to no shows will not be reimbursed the $100 volunteer fee, no exceptions.
