Registration for the upcoming season is officially open, and we’re excited to get things rolling again. We’re looking forward to another great year of development, competition, and community.
Registration Notes You will notice an increase in fees this season. While never ideal, these adjustments reflect rising operating costs and increased fees from Lacrosse Canada. Please ensure you have your Respect in Sport information ready when completing your registration.
GELC Updates & Division Changes The GELC has removed zones for U13 and U15. As a result, we expect to host our own A teams in both divisions. Please make sure you select your A intent if you wish to try out. We’re hopeful to see strong numbers across A/B/C Divisions. U17 will still be a zone team playing in the WRLL
For the first time, U11 will also include tiering. This change is intended to improve parity and create closer, more competitive games throughout the season.
Evaluations & Tryouts Player evaluations and tryouts will take place in early March. More details will be shared as we get closer.
Pre-Season Floor Times Come-try-its and pre-season floor sessions will begin in February. Keep an eye on our social media channels for dates and registration information.
Goalie Gear If you currently have club-owned goalie equipment, please email Equipment@parklandposse.com to let us know what you have and whether you plan to return it before the season begins. A reminder that Category 3 goalie gear is not supplied by the club. By this stage, goalies are expected to have their own equipment. The club has very limited Cat 3 gear available only for exceptional circumstances.
Coaching Opportunities If you’re interested in coaching this season, please reach out to VPminor@parklandposse.com with your coaching resume. We’re always looking for dedicated leaders to help guide our athletes.
Clinics & Training Watch the GELC social media pages for upcoming coaching and officiating clinic dates. The Posse will cover the cost of your ALRA Referee Clinic once it is completed and passed. We’re looking forward to a fantastic season and can’t wait to see everyone back on the floor.
